The flagship variety of Indonesia, the Indo kratom family grows native to the largest kratom producer worldwide, which explains its prominent market presence. The Red Indo variety in particular comes from the oldest leaves of the Indo kratom tree. Once harvested, these leaves are dried outdoors before being moved indoors to complete the process, allowing a slight fermentation to occur. Compared to the green and white variety, Red Indo has a slower, more subdued tempo that might make it more appropriate for relaxed, low-activity situations.
