Red Horn kratom and Red Elephant kratom are the two distinct strains that get their name from the appearance of their leaves. Red Elephant is named after the large, floppy leaves that identify the strain, resembling the ears of an elephant. While both strains are generally known for their bold alkaloid profile, Red Elephant is a much slower variety that provides a deep, heavy, subdued experience which might more closely approximate people's expectations of a red vein variety.
